The "Blue Orchestra Project" is a
children's and youth orchestra
that was specifically founded as
a recording orchestra.
The Blue Orchestra Project sees itself as a recording orchestra.
In addition to its own projects, it also produces orchestral accompaniment
for choirs and soloists, as well as music for feature films.
The instrumentation of the orchestra includes a wide range of
traditional acoustic orchestral instruments from Western music,
as well as exotic traditional acoustic instruments from Africa, Asia,
South America, and Australia.
In addition, analog and digital synthesizers, as well as virtual instruments,
are used to meet the demands of modern productions.
The heart of our recording technology is an analog Midas console.
Recording is computer-assisted.
Our microphone selection allows for various miking techniques,
ranging from DECCA and SM to ORTF, A/B, and individual microphone placement.
A headphone matrix enables the connection of up to 64 headphones,
each with an individual mix.
